We’re honoured to be hosting a very special tribute to Salem, a much-loved local legend from Daventry.

 

Salem, a friendly black cat with three legs, became a familiar and comforting sight around town—often popping into shops, offices, and even visiting us here at Arc Cinema. His gentle nature and adventurous spirit made him a favourite with so many, both in person and online.

Following his recent passing at the age of 15, the community has come together to celebrate his life. We’ll be holding a special memorial screening, sharing photos and videos of Salem’s many adventures and the joy he brought to everyone he met.

There’s also been an incredible response from the community, with fundraising led by Discover Daventry to create a lasting tribute in his memory.

Salem wasn’t just a cat—he was part of the community. We’re proud he chose The Arc Cinema as one of his favourite places to visit, and we look forward to celebrating his life with you.
